Course Objectives:

  • To strengthen the ideas of basic analytical methods
  • To know the different fields of analytical chemistry 
  • To grow the ability of performing selective quality analysis jobs
  • To grow knowledge on quality testing sophisticated instruments
  • To develop knowledge on determination of pollution parameters


Course Content:
Introduction to instrumental analysis, titrimetric analysis based on instruments: Potentiometric auto tritrator; Industrial application of classical analysis for common reagents/chemicals; Analysis of Industrial water using instruments; Flame Photometric, UV/Vis and AAS Spectrometric methods of analysis; Cationic & anionic constituents determination; Chromatographic methods of analysis: Industrial process, Natural gas (NG) and inert gas (IG) analysis; Pollution control in process industries; Air pollution monitoring: Instrumental and kits methods for   indoor air pollutant measurement.
